Welcome to Our Community

Temple B'nai Shalom was founded in 1959 to provide a warm spiritual Jewish community for families living in Braintree and surrounding communities. We are a conservative congregation of approximately 85 families that serves a diverse membership of young and old, the very dedicated to the casual attendee, single families to mixed faith marriages. Everyone is welcome. A recent survey scored TBS at a 96% satisfaction level at meeting member’s needs.

    Many talented learned lay members participate in the services and activities. Temple B'nai Shalom offers weekly classes to learn prayers and traditions. Advanced religious and Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons are available.
